CornholeAce Refunds and Returns Policy
At CornholeAce, we are committed to making sure every customer receives the product they ordered in excellent condition. Please review our return and refund policy below before placing your order.
Because many of our products, including cornhole boards, are large, heavy, and expensive to ship, returns require proper packaging and carrier handling.
Returns and Refunds
Customers have 30 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return.
To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team at contact@cornholeace.com with your order number and the reason for your return. This step is required so we can provide the correct return instructions.
Returns sent back without prior communication with our customer service team, or returns initiated outside of the 30 day return window, may not be accepted and may not be eligible for a refund.
Returned items must be in new and unused condition, with no signs of wear, use, damage, or missing parts. Items must be packaged securely so they can safely travel through the carrier’s shipping network.
Customers are responsible for using the original packaging or obtaining suitable replacement packaging if the original packaging has been discarded. We strongly recommend keeping all original packaging until the order has been fully inspected and you are certain the product will not need to be returned or exchanged.
CornholeAce may provide a prepaid return label when applicable, but customers are responsible for properly packing the item, coordinating the return shipment, and dropping the package off with the designated carrier. Carrier pickup service is not included by default. If a pickup, replacement packaging, or special handling is requested or required, additional costs may apply unless otherwise approved by CornholeAce.
Non Prime orders may be subject to a 20% restocking fee when allowed by applicable marketplace policy. This includes, but is not limited to, buyer’s remorse returns, returns due to ordering by mistake, changing your mind, choosing the wrong size or product, no longer wanting the item, returns outside the eligible return window, or items returned used, damaged, incomplete, or not in the same condition received.
Original shipping costs are not refundable. If CornholeAce provided free shipping on the original order, the actual outbound shipping cost may be deducted from the refund when allowed by the applicable sales channel or marketplace policy.
Refunds are issued after the returned item is received and inspected. Any applicable restocking fee, return shipping cost, missing item cost, damage cost, packaging cost, or other allowable deduction may be deducted from the refund.
Incorrect, Lost, Stolen, Damaged, or Defective Items
We strongly encourage every customer to thoroughly inspect their order immediately upon delivery and confirm that the item is correct, complete, and free from shipping damage or defects.
If any issue is identified, please contact us promptly at contact@cornholeace.com with your order number, a brief description of the issue, and clear photos of the item and packaging.
Our customer service team will review the issue and work with you to determine the appropriate solution.
For approved damaged, defective, incorrect, or warranty eligible claims, CornholeAce may provide a prepaid return label. Due to the size, weight, and value of our products, replacement items are not shipped until the original item has been returned or the return tracking shows that the package has been dropped off and accepted by the carrier.
If a customer needs a replacement before the original item has been returned or accepted by the carrier, CornholeAce may offer the option to purchase the replacement first. Once the original item is returned and inspected, the appropriate refund or credit will be issued based on the condition of the returned item and the applicable policy.
If the original packaging has been discarded, the customer is responsible for obtaining suitable replacement packaging so the item can be returned safely. If an item is returned with insufficient packaging and is damaged in return transit, the refund, replacement, or warranty coverage may be reduced or denied depending on the condition of the returned item.
If the carrier has lost your package or delivered it to the wrong address, please contact us immediately before filing a claim with the carrier. We will provide instructions on how to move forward.
We are not liable for stolen packages after the carrier confirms delivery. If you believe your package was stolen after delivery confirmation, we recommend filing the necessary claim or report with the carrier or local law enforcement.
Cancellations or Address Changes
To cancel your order or update your shipping address, please email us at contact@cornholeace.com. In the subject line, use either “Cancellation” or “Address Change” and include your order number.
Please keep in mind that we may not receive or process your request before the order ships. If your order ships before we process your cancellation or address change request, our customer service team will let you know and you may follow the return process outlined above.
Exclusions
Discounted blemish items are final sale and are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange unless CornholeAce determines that the item received is materially different from what was purchased or has a verified manufacturing defect.
Mystery items, including mystery cornhole bags, mystery blemished cornhole bags, mystery boards, mystery accessories, and any other product sold as a mystery, random, surprise, blemish, closeout, or final sale item, are final sale and are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange based on design preference, color preference, artwork preference, theme preference, pattern preference, cosmetic blemishes disclosed or expected by the product listing, buyer’s remorse, or simply not liking the item received.
Mystery items are intentionally sold with random or unspecified designs. CornholeAce does not guarantee any specific color, pattern, artwork, theme, logo, or design for mystery items. The purpose of a mystery item is that the customer receives a randomly selected product at a discounted or special price.
CornholeAce will review issues with mystery items only when the customer receives the wrong quantity, the wrong product type, an item that is materially different from what was purchased, verified shipping damage, a verified manufacturing defect, or an issue that affects normal playability or function and was not disclosed or reasonably expected based on the product listing.
Custom designed products are not eligible for refunds or returns except in cases of verified manufacturing defects, shipping damage, or incorrect product received.
The customer is responsible for ensuring the design they submit is of sufficient quality for large format printing. If we receive a low quality design, we will try our best to contact the customer to address any concerns. If the customer does not respond within 2 business days from our initial inquiry, we may either print the design as submitted or make reasonable modifications using our best judgment.
Marketplace Orders
Orders placed through a marketplace, including Amazon, must also follow that marketplace’s required return, refund, and replacement process. If a marketplace policy requires a different process, the marketplace policy will apply.
For Amazon orders, customers must initiate returns, refunds, or replacements through Amazon’s return process when required. Restocking fees, return shipping deductions, replacement timing, and refund amounts will be handled in accordance with Amazon’s applicable policies.
